View Assignment Calendar by Time FrameTo view lessons in the assignment calendar by a specific time frame: Select the student from the Students drop-down in the main menu. Click Activities in the submenu. Select the subject drop-down menu and click on the subject for the activities you'd like to view. Choose from this week, next week, or a custom date range to view the assignment calendar. You can also filter your assignment calendar by a specific lesson or group of lessons by clicking the All Lessons drop-down menu.

Assignment OverviewThe Assignment Overview is available under Classroom. After selecting a subject, select This Week or Next Week A summary card for each day (Monday to Friday) will be displayed. Three types of days will be displayed: All students have assignments Some students have assignments No students have assignments

Email Weekly Assignment CalendarThe email weekly assignment calendar feature is available on the student's Activities screen. Once a date range is selected, an email will be sent to the teacher, which includes a table of assignments per day/subject. Here's how you can generate an email containing the weekly assignment calendar: From the student's Activities screen, Click the blue EMAIL ASSIGNMENT CALENDAR button Select the date range from the calendar and click OK.

Play Expired Activities Convenience FeatureIf there are no assignments today, Vizzle will pull the last 10 assigned activities and make them available to the student to work on. This feature is turned on by default and can be toggled ON/OFF from the student Settings page. Here's how you can toggle this feature ON/OFF: Select the student from Students in the main menu. Click Settings from the submenu. Under Student Information, notice Play Expired Activities Toggle ON/OFF You will receive a notification in blue at the bottom of the screen indicating that the changes have been saved.

Delete Student ActivityHere's how to remove a student activity from the student's assigned activities: Select the student from the Students drop-down in the main menu. Click Activities from the submenu. Select the subject from the drop-down menu. Click on the activity you'd like to remove for your student (Vizzle will highlight selected activities in orange). Click the red Delete icon. Click OK. Here's how to remove a student activity from the student's Assignment Calendar:

Delete All Activities for a Subject AreaHere's how to remove all assigned activities for a subject area: Select the student from the Students drop-down in the main menu. Click Activities from the submenu. Select the appropriate subject area from the subject drop-down menu. Click the blue Select All button (all activities will highlight orange). Click the red Delete icon. Click OK.

Get a Shareable Link for a Vizzle ActivityClick the video below to learn how to get a shareable link for a Vizzle activity. These links can be shared on learning management systems, like Google Classroom, Schoology, and Seesaw. Search & Assign Vizzle Activities By Topic ViewVizzle activities can be found by searching in one of three ways: by topic, unit, or activity. This article will show the steps for searching by topic view, which is the default setting. NOTE: The first time a teacher logs into Vizzle and selects Lessons from the main menu, the teacher must pick a subject area and then follow the steps below. To search for activities using the Topic View: Select Lessons from the main menu.

Search & Assign Vizzle Activities By Unit ViewVizzle activities can be found by searching in one of three ways: by topic, unit, or activity. This article will show the steps for searching by the unit view. To search for activities using the Unit View: Select Lessons from the main menu. Use the filters on the left of the screen to narrow the search results. Filters include Content Library, Subject, Grade, and State Standard. Notice that the units for the Academic Curriculum and the Skills Suite will load in order by unit on the right side of the screen.

The activity view is the best way to search for standalone lessons to support individual learning goals. This article will show the steps for searching by the activity view. To search for activities using the Activity View: Select Lessons from the main menu. Select Vizzle Classic in the Content Library filter section.

Tag Previously Assigned Activities with IEP Goals/ObjectivesVizzle activities can be tagged with IEP goals/objectives to enable automatic data collection. This can be done in two ways. To tag previously assigned activities with IEP goals: Select a student from the Students drop-down in the main menu. Click on Activities in the submenu. Select a subject from the drop-down menu. Hover over the selected activity to reveal a hamburger button (three stacked lines), and click the hamburger button to open the activity card.

Tag New Topics/Activities with IEP Goals/ObjectivesTo tag topics with IEP goals: Once a topic has been selected, click the Assign button. In the Assign screen, select the level of instruction to be assigned, the student(s) that the activity will be used for IEP goals/objectives tracking, set the dates, and the retake options. Click the blue Assign button at the bottom of the screen. Once assigned, a screen appears, confirming that the assignment was sent.

Benefits of Using Activity View (Academic Curriculum & Skills Suite)Since most teachers assign full topics of activities, why would someone choose to search by activity? This article will show the benefits of the activity view. To search by activity view: Click Lessons in the main menu. Click Activity View and use the filters to narrow the results. Filters include Content Library, Subject, Grade, and State Standard. To further narrow the search results, search by keyword in the search box above the activity list.
