Search & Assign Activities by Activity View (Vizzle Classic)

Vizzle activities can be found by searching in one of three ways: by topic, unit, or activity. The activity view is the best way to search for standalone lessons to support individual learning goals. This video will show the steps for searching by the activity view. 

To search for activities using the Activity View:

1. Select Lessons from the main menu.
2. Select Vizzle Classic in the Content Library filter section. 
3. Use the filters on the left of the screen to narrow the search results. Filters include Subject, Grade, and State Standard. Note that Vizzle Classic activities may not be tagged to a specific state standard, so searching by keyword in the search bar may be preferred.
4. There is also a search bar available on the right side above the list of activities. Enter keywords that may help focus the search (i.e., details, main idea, etc.).
5. The activity can be previewed by clicking on the thumbnail in the activity list on the right side of the screen.
6. Click on the Detail button for information regarding the activity, including a brief description of the activity and any state standards it is mapped to.
7. The activity can be previewed by clicking the play button to the right of the activity on the Details page or by clicking the Preview button at the top of the screen.
8. When ready, click Assign to assign the activity to students.
9. In the Assign screen, select the students that will be assigned the activity, edit the assignment date(s), and select the retake options from the drop-down menu. Check "Add to My Resources" if desired.
10. Finally, click Assign in the lower right-hand corner of the screen.
