New Administrator Reporting in Vizzle!

Overview

The updated Vizzle Administrator Report provides district and school leaders with clearer visibility into educator and student activity. Administrators can now analyze usage trends, monitor logins, and review lesson engagement across both staff and students with expanded filtering and drill‑down capabilities.


Key Features

  • Separate Educator and Student Reporting: Easily toggle between the two data sets.
  • District‑Level and Building‑Level Views: Review cumulative metrics or drill down into specific schools.
  • Trend Analysis: Track changes in Lessons Taught, Lessons Previewed, Lessons Played, and Login activity over time.
  • Detailed Login Insights: View unique logins, total logins, and lists of users who have or have not logged in.

Accessing the New Administrator Report

To explore, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Vizzle account
  2. Select Data from the Admin toolbar
  3. When prompted, choose to leave the current site to access reporting
  4. In the left navigation panel, select Vizzle (Beta)

Educator Reporting

Default View

The report opens on Educator data. Administrators can:

  • Set a custom date range.
  • Filter by school, teacher, subject, and more.

Metric Cards

At the top of the Educator tab, administrators can view:

  • Total Unique Logins
  • Total Logins
  • Total Lessons Previewed
  • Total Lessons Taught

Note:

  • Lessons counted under Teach require educators to click Teach inside Vizzle.
  • Lessons counted under Preview require educators to click Preview.

Teach, Preview, and Login Data

  • Teach & Preview Data

    • Displayed as a bar graph broken out by subject.
    • Switch to Trend View to see subject engagement over time.
    • Below the graph, a table shows each building and the number of lessons taught/previewed by subject.
  • Login Data

    • Shown as a line graph over time.
    • Unique and total logins are broken out by building.
    • Right‑click on any building to view:
      • Educators who have logged in
      • Educators who have not logged in
      • Total logins per educator
      • Last login date

Student Reporting

Accessing Student Data

Switch from Educator to Student using the toggle at the top of the report. Filters and date‑range selections function the same way.

Metric Cards

Student reporting includes:

  • Total Unique Logins
  • Total Logins
  • Total Lessons Played

Note:
Lessons Played are counted when students complete the assigned lesson items.

Lesson Play & Login Data

  • Lesson Play Data

    • Shown as a bar graph by subject, with an optional Trend view.
    • A data table shows lesson play counts by building and subject.
  • Login Data

    • Presented as a line graph over time.
    • Unique and total logins broken out by building.
    • Right‑click any building to view:
      • Students who have logged in
      • Students who have not logged in
      • Total login counts
      • Last login date
