GETTING STARTED STEP-BY-STEP

Step 1: Build or Update Your Student Roster (click for video)

1. From the main menu within Vizzle, Click Classroom.

2. Then, from the toolbar, select Student Management.

3. Remove students from your roster by clicking on the red X.

4. First, add existing student profiles from your building by clicking the Add Student button and then the green + next to their name.

5. Organize Student Groups (click for video) to assign lessons to groups of students in a snap.

*Only if a student is new to the district or is new to using Vizzle and does not have an existing Vizzle student profile, click the Create Student button to create a new student profile. To prevent creating duplicates for a student, please check your roster and add the student first.

Step 2: Student and Teacher Settings (click for video)

Personalize each student's learning environment based on their individual needs and preferences. Also, adjust your teacher settings for group instruction.

Step 3: Search and Assign Lessons (click for video)

Our Lesson Library is organized into 3 libraries of activities. Assign lessons to students or run activities directly from the Lesson Library for group instruction.

· Academic Curriculum covers the 4 core subjects broken down by grade level. Each grade level has a series of units, topics, and activities that can be assigned to students. Search by standard or topic to support student learning.

· Skills Suite provides content by grade-band for Life Skills, Social Skills, and Transition and Vocational Skills. Like the Academic Curriculum, it provides units, topics, and activities, plus extension activities for hands-on experiences.

· Vizzle Classic provides additional activities covering all learning areas. Create your own list of lessons to support goals or opportunities to practice and generalize concepts.

Step 4: View and Filter Data (click for video)

Students can log in from any laptop, desktop, iPad, or tablet and play assignments. Vizzle automatically tracks data for easy progress monitoring and reporting. Custom reporting allows educators to filter by any time range, subject, provider, and goal/instructional tracking card to report with confidence.
